I’m going to be adding a new hen to my flock of two and was wondering if it would be ideal to quarantine the new one before introducing to the other two? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Quarantine of adult hen is a safe practice when introducing new hens that was raised from another flock, to make sure it doesn’t bring in diseases. One reason I preferred raising my own chicks for integration, it worked for me so far none of my flock members had got sick or died of diseases. I know for some it’s not ideal, but many had successfully taken in adult chickens.
