The recommended period is 4 weeks, though longer wouldn't hurt if you want to be extra cautious. It sounds like you're doing a good job of following it up to this point.
That said, I freely admit that the last time I added birds older than recently hatched, I got 7 week olds and threw them right in with my 7 week olds. My logic was I wanted to get them integrated before pecking order really set in, plus the birds all came from the same source (local feed store).
