This is probably the dumbest question ever, but HOW do you get the squares SO SQUARE???

I mean, do you buy them pre-cut? How do you cut them easily into perfect squares?

rotary cutter and a grid jig will keep your cuts pretty square

Ellie is home from work, the chickens are put to bed, I have my drink of choice in hand, a cat on my lap.... and just looked at my email How beautiful my quilt is. I almost think I should hire a guard or two at Cynthia's house to protect it from quilt loving thieves, lol!!

I have to say that it is truly the most beautiful quilt I have seen. Believe me, I have seen plenty because Cynthia kept "making" me look at pictures of them. This is the best ever!!

My gosh, I just keep staring at it. Seriously...

Cutting accuracy and square squares comes from using proper tools (and checking and rechecking when you don't trust your eyesight, LOL). No pre cut stuff here.

Ellie, I'm glad you like your quilt. Now, just need to sandwich and quilt it for you.

Just have to decide which color thread to use. I have several shades of off white and beige, as well as green, yellow and navy blue.

It sort of shows perspective, in a way. I was trying to draw wavy lines on photoshop, but couldn't really get it right. This was just what I came up with while playing around.
