Hi all! Not new to chickens, almost 6 years, but new to Backyard Chickens. I am down to 8 hens and a rooster right now, due to a dog attack. More babies are coming in April. Yeah! I have a mix of hens, including 3 “mutes” that are 1/2 Swedish Flower (my rooster) and whoever the mom is. Though the girls are for eggs, they definitely are my pets. What would I do without them to entertain me?
