I have a NN that has been stripped of skin on her neck so I cleansed it applied neo and put some blu kote on her she is doing ok so this is why this isn't in the emergencies section.

So the blu kote I have isn't the spray it is the kind with the dauber, while putting it on her neck it dripped down onto her feathers, will it eventually wear off or fade? I know blu kote is basically purple marking ink with an antiseptic in it and purple marking ink stays on skin for what feels like forever. I know as I am now sporting a couple of pretty purple fingers.

Blu coat is a dye. It has good antiseptic, antibacterial, and fungicidal properties. It does eventually wear off.

It will wear off in a while. I've blue-koted an entire chicken's butt and after a month or so I couldn't tell which one she was.

Your fingers will go back to normal, eventually. I made a note to self to wear gloves, but I have a hard time remembering!
