Question about Buff laced Polish

I'm looking at possibly ordering a Buff Laced Polish from the Meyer Hatchery. The website says that they do poorly in cold. As I live in Washington I'm wondering if our Washington weather would be too cold for that breed. Any opinions and personal experiences with the breed welcome.
