Question about chick feed

Would I be able to keep my chicks on chick starter then transition them to the layer pellets and oyster shell when they start laying or do I need to switch them from chick starter to an adult chicken feed once they're 10-12 weeks old?

You can keep them on chick starter forever, though I'd recommend non-medicated chick starter after 8 weeks of age. Alternately you can switch to layer pellets but I wouldn't do it any earlier than 16 weeks.
