Question about deep litter method

Greetings, am considering getting 4 hens and a backyard chicken coop/run in a suburban home setting- no experience with chickens but doing lots of research. I’m asking for opinions - should I use a deep litter method in a BACKYARD chicken coop- don’t want to offend neighbors with bad odors, but don’t have time for daily coop cleaning. Please advise if you have experience with deep litter method. Thanks

I would install poop boards and just scoop them daily. For a small flock it would only take about 5 minutes.
