Question about dogs with bloody diarrhea? Graphic description, sorry!

When another neighbor was having problems with this particular neighbor and they called the cops they were told that the cops won't do anything without proof. So I can't involve them unless I have proof, which is terrible and frustrating. Trust me, I'd have called the police already if I had some sort of evidence.

Since you don't have the money to take them to the vet right now I would recomend taking in a stool sample so you know exactly what kind of worms you are dealing with. Fecal testing doesn't cost that much and it will let you know which dewormer to use on the dogs. Whatever one dog has you can assume they all have. What kind of monthly heartworm prevention are you using. Maybe you can switch so you don't have to worry about worms as much. There are a few that will treat a wide range of internal parisites monthly that way you dont get a massive build up.
The diarrhea really should be seen by your vet. It is hard to diagnose a problem without seeing the animal and like KatoDVM (I assume a Vet by the name) said it could be Hemorrhagic GastroEnteritis. If that is the case the dogs NEED treated ASAP. Or start thinking about the big E.

Edited to add I don't mean to sound harsh about the last coment but this could be that serious.
If it is the neighbor. Try and buy a cheap security system and set the camera up so it tapes the activity in your back yard by the neighbor. That should get you the evidence that is needed. In the meantime start adding Vit K to you dogs diet daily that way if it is warfarin poisoning it will help counteract it.

Boy, you are in a bad situation. I treat my dogs at home for vaccinations and wormings. But if one of mine had bloody diarrhea I would want the advice of a vet.
Since you are unable to do that you will have to do what you can. How long has this been going on? Are the dogs lethargic? Are they eating? Do they have temps? I'm asking because they do need wormed, but you aren't supposed to worm a sick dog.
If you are going to worm, use a good one. Not the Hartz Mountain or things you find at stores. I started buying worming products from a person on Ebay. The cost is low and has worked well for me. He offers tapewormer and wormers for hooks and rounds. I will give you a link for one of his auctions. http://cgi.ebay.com/Round-Hook-and-...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item27ac32b161 I have purchased wormers from him several times and he is a good seller. He also has treatments for giardia.
The possible poisioning is scary. I hope you are able to keep your dogs protected from that. Good Luck!

Most of the feedstore wormers worm for roundworm and/or hookworm...but not for whipworm. It could be worms, or coccidia, or parvovirus. A stool sample would be able to rule out worms or cocci, and could also be used for a parvo test. Yes, it isn't cheap to diagnose or buy the 'good stuff', but it's less expensive in the long run compared to buying a bunch of stuff that isn't necessary. Get the diagnosis and fix it right the first time. Good luck!
