Question about eggs rocking

Okay I have added a bowl of hot water with a rag in it and two other wet hot rags in different places in the bator and this seems to have worked because the windows now have condensation. Problem is that they pipped over 24 hours ago, the first being closer to 36 hours ago. Am I too late to correct any damage done if my humidity was way too low to begin with?

you may be.
are they peeping?
did they external pip? or internal?
if external than it is probably too late to correct it .
it seems like lately everyone is having messed up hatches.
i had eggs under a broody become shrink wrapped.
so who knows what is going on lately.
if they externally pipped 36 hrs ago and are not making progress give them until later today and you may have to start helping them.
if they internally pipped 36 hours ago i would give them another day before you start helping. (maybe make an external pip for them so they can breath)

The one that pipped 36 hours ago I would assist. Start at the pip hole and peel back a little shell. You can use tweezers just be careful. Take a peek inside and see if membrane is white and sucking the baby in. You'll know what I mean if this is the case. If you ever see blood stop and put the baby back in the bator.

That where I would start and I'll be on to take you further if need be.

After 36 hours it should have made some more progress. Sometimes they take longer, but if we can look in that first one it will give you an idea of what the others look like.

Agreed. I want her to check on that first 36 hr one with all the problems we've had lately. I bet their shrink wrapped.

They externally pipped but are all making progress, slow as it may be.... actually the past 3 hours have been pretty progressive for the first three "pippers".

what kind of progress do you mean?
are they starting to zip?
or just making their hole bigger?
