Question about eggs

Some of my eggs have bumpy spots on them like little grains of sand. The other eggs are smooth and normal. Is there something wrong or is this just a weird thing.

Probably just a weird thing. One of mine lays eggs like that, always has. See #5 below.

There is nothing to worry about; sometimes hens lay eggs like that. The bumpy spots are extra calcium deposits that the hen puts on the shell. They are not a sign of a disease, and they have little effect on the quality of the eggs. One of my chicken commonly lays eggs with calcium deposits.
