question about feather picking

If you have a chicken that gets feathers picked out will they grow back or will she be bald untill molts?

I had two SLW with bald backs AND butts and their feathers didn't start to grow back by a lot until they started molting. Though if the hen is separated for while, the feathers usually grow back within a few weeks or months.

Thanks, I think I have fixed the picking problem. So I probably don't have to separate them. She looks so bad though, they had two roos with them and I think they were getting to rough trying to prove who was head roo. I re homed one of the roos and I think everything is good now but, she has a bald head and butt.
