My girls are just starting on grower formula, i am feeding scratch and peck organic, corn and soy free- they are around 12 weeks old, and I want to start fermenting their food, I have looked at the long 400 page posts but it is honestly overwhelming all that information, the way I understand it, to be brief- moisten the feed with water and acv and yogurt cover it and in a few days it will smell like sourdough and be ok to feed? Also, I've been using small chick feeders up until this point and I'm about to get my adult feeder, is there a certain type of feeder that is recommended for feeding fermented foods?
