That's what I'm using to sift the GBS I bought. It has a lot of powder.
So I'm sifting it out for the tiny ones.
Oh I know
I had one bag of GBS blue...so moldy! and the next one was really powdery...can't win... OH and one bag had HUGE chunks in it. Of course the quail won't touch it.
Mold! Yikes! Taht would make me mad for sure!
The chicken feed I got has weevils , so it's on the patio... and being frozen before storing in the house.
The powder won't go to waste, but when you buy a bag, expecting to feed the big ones... well the powder is a bit of a pain!
I sift a little in the evenings while watching Tv and my son does too. lol..
And yes.. the chunks!
The buttons leave them behind in their dish! They're not to fond of the big ones.
I've been debating sifting it for 3 stages. Powder, small, and large.! I have another colander that has small squares.
