I don't know why but I don't like the fresh tomato taste.....I think it has to do with the texture of the tomato. It is weird cause I like salsa, tomato sauce. I don't like ketchup. Weird.

I gave a novice-gardener friend a Green Zebra seedling.
Later, when I was done harvesting mine, I asked how she liked them.
"Horrible!" she told me "They never got ripe!"
Another funny story: I made fried green tomatoes for my young neices from Oregon, big hit. The next day they came running into the house after picking EVERY green tomatoe on my 20 plants. Quite a haul for a 3 and 4 year old!
