She gave her 1.5 in syringe. Thank god she looks fine this morning and eating. It must of been medication. I brought her to vet bc I was concerned about her crop which she told me it’s fine. There was something like corn in her crop she felt but nothing to be concerned she said. Then I thought she was egg bound bc she is still not givining me eggs and then her molting is alittle bit rough so that’s why she gave her. I don’t even know for what reason she gave her this but she was VERY different chicken when I brought her home.
She is only 1.5 old. I just checked her crop and it felt flat & soft but kinda reddish. I do massage it though.
I can’t tell which one is her poop but seeing all poop this morning they all looked fine to me. I did notice her poop yesterday and it was very watery but I am thinking bc of so much water she was drinking yesterday like I never seen her to drink that much water. She is only 1.5 old. I just checked her crop and it felt flat & soft but kinda reddish. I do massage it though.
I need to know if the meloxidyl is 1.5 mg per ml? They make a 0.5 mg per ml, and the dosage would be different for each one. If the syringe is not labeled, it may be the 1.5 mg per ml. How much does she weigh? It is important to know a weight, or at least a breed to guess the average weight. Here is the dosage:
