Question about herbs

We keep a big plastic window box planter with herbs in it growing in a south window in our sunroom over the winter. Works quite well.

Careful with the mint sorts outside, they can take over your yard. We have lemon balm growing everywhere!

A couple of big pots of different types of chives are nice indoor herbs to have on hand. Basil does well indoors too, but careful with bringing basil in from outside, I've had issues with mites doing this.

You know, I heard about that, too. But, I'll tell you, even IF it grows where you don't want it, it smells WONDERFUL to mow, which you're supposed to do to it.

I FORGOT about lemon balm--meant to start some this year. I DID grow borage--really pretty blue flowers. Forgot to mention chives--they spread and are annuals.
