Question about interbreeding

Do you mean interbreeding (different breeds) or inbreeding (siblings or child and parent)?

For both questions, it's a matter of opinion. I would say yes to the first and no to the second. But I know that there are some people who keep heritage breeds who would say the opposite.

I'm always a little leery of inbreeding because that's just a little close for my comfort - any negative traits would be magnified. I wouldn't breed two siblings together, but I would breed cousins together and maybe half-siblings, I'm not sure. But as I said, I know there are people with heritage breeds who would breed siblings together to keep the line pure.
