Hello all
I want to keep a pair of mandarin duck in my home garden , and there is in my garden a large koi pond with clear and filtration water , with water lilies and water plants , the questions is do the mandarin ducks will eat my water plants and the garden flowers + plants , or they won't do that

Yes they make their water dirty they swim in I wouldn't let them in your Koi pond unless it's huge and can take the mess. And most likely they will try out your water plants too. Ducks nibble and if they didn't eat the plants they would nibble them and make them unsightly looking, you could get them a small pool just for them and possibly fence them out of your Koi pond. And
