question about my post regarding thanksgiving.

All these FOOD threads are making me hungry - heck even the threads that mention pig or chicken.....

the last time i used shake and bake, the chops stuck to the pan and the underside was all..i dont know, mushy.

I cook "rotisserie style" chicken that way, I put two 5 lb roasters in the oven at a 200* temp for around 7 hours or so and my chicken is always perfectly moist and above the standard what is safe temp. Doesn't really answer your question but I have been cooking chickens that way for years and no issues.

However.....The USDA recommends temperatures no lower than 325°F for cooking meat and poultry.

I use my little rotisserie for cooking 1 inch pork chops. A good rub or wrapped in a piece of bacon.... Yummmmm...

I think I need to drive to Costco now. They have the best pork chops.

Wendy, throw the family in the car and come down here for dinner. It will be ready when you get here. I've even got some shrimp for a nice shrimp cocktail.
