Hey all-

in your experience how long did it take your babies to dry out in the 'bator?

these guys are 4 hrs old...looking better but still very wet. I read it can take 24hrs?

thanks!

i leave mine in for 24 hours but theyre pretty dry at 12 hours! i do that for both chicken and ducks LF and bantam just to be on the safe side

I take mine out around 12 hours. I have the brinsea mini adv and the humidity has no where to go, so I end up taking them out before they're dry, but if I don't they'd never dry out.

I took mine out after a few hours...they fluffed out under the brooder lamp...

ours came out at 6 hours and fluffed right up under the brooder lamp. I have 2 which may hatch in the next hour. not sure if/when I will make it to bed tonight! here they are on the way to the brooder:

We also need to get in there and clean because the first 2 made a huge mess!
