Question about rabbits.

Our three rabbits are and have been, conditioned to noise and movement - with our mob, they have to, lol...Like oldhenlikesdogs, the dogs are around them, quails/birds are making noises, but they are very laid-back bunnies and snooze through it all, so much so, that they sometimes look like roadkill...I don't find rabbits to be too 'fragile' here, only to what they can eat.

I have a rescue rabbit that was part of a package deal for rescuing a chicken (and that turned out to be a rooster). She lives in my shed coop with the chickens, and except for when it comes to certain treats, she's near the top of the pecking order. They all get along fine, she drinks from the same water bowl (heated) and her pellets are right beside the chicken pellets. She also acclimated to my beagle easily, she was already used to dogs in the yard and doesn't mind the beagle coming in the coop.

They are so much smarter than they appear too.

We keep our rabbit in the same coop as our bantams with wire to seperate. They come to her area and chirp at her and she looks at them but noone is scared of anyone. We have a small pet carrier crammed with straw and she sleeps in there and it is the back of her little run.

Rabbits will get used to noise and movement. Mine can even handle me drilling into wood when doing DIY. They’ll come and see what I’m doing. Of course this is not the case for all rabbits. Some are shy but so long as you don’t scare them with sharp, sudden movements and extremely loud noises, they should be ok :)
