Question about shipping cost on hatching eggs.......

I'm planning to ship in a small box using an empty egg carton with vermiculite and foam peanuts - vermiculite and peanuts IN the carton to hold them steady, as well as foam peanuts surrounding the carton in the box to max capacity. I'm having a heck of a time figuring out the best method to ship. USPS, UPS, FedEX and how long of a "trip." These are bantam OEGB hatching eggs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is an old thread. I have been shipping my eggs in foam that I cut holes in for the eggs. I have not had one egg delivered broken or cracked. I have had some friends ask me if I would sell them some of my kits. With each order I send out, I include a Hatching Egg Disclaimer along with some Hatching Tips. I made a shipping label and a caution handling label I put on the box with the shipping label. I don't how much I should charge them.
