Question about silver sulfadiazene.

Is Silver sulphadiazine safe to use on poultry? It's most commonly used on humans to prevent infection in open wounds (burns). It would be used to treat a tear near on the back of the neck near the head on a Turken pullet. She's about 3 months old.

Yes, it is safe. I use it myself and it was given to me by one of my customers who works in the bird rehab biz. They use it on wounds of hawks, etc.

Excellent cream, works amazing wonders on humans, bet it would do a great job on poultry. I use it on myself and it speeds healing up way fast!

Bumping this thread up fyi. It is by prescription from a vet. I use silver sulfadiazine on wounds with very good results.
