PPMs and GFMs can turn off the ads at any time. I noticed you didn't have this setting flipped in your profile, so I've done that for you.

I want to add that even with AdblockPlus on Chrome the stupid popups are annoying. I've had them pop up and start playing when the web page they were on was in the background behind two other web pages.
