Question about the blues...

I have a blue splash dutch hen and a blue splash OEGB hen. I had a blue splash dutch roo that was lost to hawks I'm assuming. The few chicks I hatched from these 3 this fall were all blue splash.
Since I don't have the roo anymore, what color roo(s) would I need to be sure to get some blue splash chicks?

Either blue or blue splash. If you use a blue splash roo all your babies will be splash. If you use a blue roo then you will get a percentage splash.

The percent splash with a blue is like 25% right?

Blue x splash will give you a 50% ratio blue and 50% ratio splash.

but what does blue x blue get? I have a dutch blue pullet as well, just curious!

blue crossed to blue will produce :
50% blue
25% splash
25% black

Ok so for the black chicks that would come from a bluexblue mix, would they have the blue gene, or would all their chicks be black?

So for the black chicks I would get from this mix, what could I do with them? Could they be bred to blue or splash, or would it just be a mess?
