Question about Turkey sitting on Chicken eggs

My hen laid 3 eggs on our Turkey's nest. If these eggs hatch, will my Turkey raise them or harm them? Thank you.

I disagree. There is always the chance once they hatch she will 'know' they are not turkeys and kill them. The same way ducks will kill chicks or chickens will kill ducks, etc. I hope she takes good care of them but be aware things can go very wrong.

I am watching very closely and counting days till they should hatch. My thinking is I should pull them off the nest when they start to break through. What do you think?

We have had turkeys hatch out chickens often. The only problem we ever had was the turkey hen weighs alot more than a chicken hen so she would tend to step on the eggs and break them.

I let one of my turkeys set a clutch of eggs once and she broke more than she hatched.

If your turkey hen is setting on both chicken and turkey eggs. She will leave the nest after the chicken hatch. Best to pull the chicks same reason, she could step on them or put to much weight on them when brooding them.
