Question about turkeys

I don't think the turkeys will try to breed with the chickens but will with the other turkeys. Apparently your birds haven't been discovered by any predators yet. Good luck and have fun...

Oh I have lost some chicks but for the most, have been pretty lucky. I do put them up at night so it is just the day they have to worry about. But I still think they are happier birds

I've kept chickens and turkeys together both in pens and free range. Never had a Tom try to mate a chicken. I have had a young cockerel try to mate with a turkey but that was just plain funny, size does matter

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Yes they will interbreed, but the white birds may be bred more for rapid growth and develop health issues.
