Some will hatch and some won't. Exact odds are hard to say. If you have access to cheap eggs and don't want too many chicks then I would try it. I would not risk doing it with expensive eggs though and you will have a lower hatch rate. The only thing that would put me off doing it is that there is a slight risk of deformed chicks. Without turning the yolk gets shoved against one side of the egg and the chick can't grow normally. Then the egg either quits or the chick comes out deformed from growing weird.
