Question for BS experts (and I mean that in the nicest possible way)...

Same thing I was thinking but when I got her I was told she was BS. Seems kinda more on the white side.

I hope that a BS specialist comes and gives an opinion.
But when I was trying to identify our Little Yellow, I think I looked at every picture of a BS chick that has been posted here!
And as far as I can tell, none of them looked like your cutie.
It almost looks like a cameo? Or? I have no experience whatsoever with those colors!

Definitely not a normal IB blackshoulder. Maybe cameo but almost not buff enough.

Here are some pictures of my BS. I think it is a hen, but really not sure. She is around 3 months old. Can anyone else tell me if male or female?

This looks like an oaten from what I understand they are achieved when a blackshouldered is crossed with a cameo but I don't know all the details just what I was told.
Very pretty baby for sure.

I was hoping it was a boy because my other 2 chicks are hens, but the older it gets the more it's pointing at a hen to me. I thought she should be darker by now but still very light. The pictures don't come out as good as being in person she's got black splotches on her neck, but the sun was making her look white. I'll bring her in the house in the morning and take some new pictures of her maybe that'll bring out the black a little more, so maybe ya'll can guess at what you think she is.
