Question for Christians

Search September rapture on youtube now and see what you find...

Hundreds of people posting about their visions and dreams. A lot scripture supporting this feast of trumpets too. Everyone needs to be awake and sober.

Now no one should ever put their trust or faith in a specific date, but we are without a doubt living in the end times. The rapture "could happen" during the feast of trumpets, it could happen a thousand years from now, or it could happen in 30 seconds.

The bible says blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. We should expect Him to return everyday, and live our lives accordingly. So if these dates pass, it's no big deal, but we need to be ready, be awake and be sober, today and everyday...

2 Peter 3:10 KJV
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

True, no one knows WHEN, so in that sense His coming shall be "as a thief in the night" - a surprise to all. But when that day comes, no one's going to miss it or read about it in the papers the next day or see it in the news. There will be no "secret rapture." in THAT DAY, "the heavens shall pass away with a great noise!" And "the elements shall melt with fervent heat!" WOW, the elements! "The earth also, and all the works" that are in the earth" ALL THE WORKS that are in the earth! "shall be burned up!"

What else will happen on that day?

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 KJV
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Well check that out. The dead in Christ, the saved, will rise from their graves.

[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Then the living saved will be caught up together with them and Jesus IN THE AIR. Whoa. Nobody's gonna miss it. All the saved, living and dead, are going to heaven with Jesus, when? When He comes. Together. Nothing secret about it. Jesus told His disciples about it, on the night before He died:

John 14:1-3 KJV
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Will only the righteous see Him come?

Revelation 1:7 KJV
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

EVERY eye, righteous and wicked alike, shall see Him come.

How will He come?

Acts 1:9-11 KJV
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. [10] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; [11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

He went up bodily into a cloud. They saw Him go. He will come the same way. Visibly. Audibly. Physically. Literally.

He IS COMING. Be ready!

I pay no attention to people giving any sort of timeframe. Bible says that only the Father himself knows and we should be ready and I leave it at that
Exactly. Besides, regardless of when Jesus may come, we don't know when our own life may end, so we need to be always ready. Tomorrow is promised to no one.

I didn't want to open up that can of worms (RAPTURE) Nowhere can I find rapture in the BIBLE! Somebody in CHRIST has to be here to "witness" the tribulations before the return. If there were a "rapture", if one goes they all go. Righteous and wicked will see him come. Sounds like the righteous missed the rapture boat. I believe no one or any "church". Research the BOOK and find out for myself, not to say I'm infallible, I am, very much so. :idunno

According to scripture, the rapture IS going to happen, as stated here in bold...

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ESV
[16] For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

It's just a matter of when it happens (pre trib, mid trib, or post tribulation). You sound like a post trib person and that could very well be the case.

Raptures have happened multiple times in the bible. Enoch was raptured in Gen 5:24, "Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away."

Elijah was raptured in 2 Kings 2:11, "And as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

It says the two witnesses will be raptured during the tribulation in Revelation 11:11-12, "And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

As far as verses that support a pre or mid tribulation rapture....

2 Thessalonians 2:6-8 ESV
[6] And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. [7] For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. [8] And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.

This scripture mentions that "he" (the restrainer) is holding back the "lawless one" (the antichrist), and the "antichrist" will not be revealed until the "restrainer" has been removed. Most people believe the restrainer to be the Holy Spirit, living in believers. Once believers are raptured, the restrainer is gone, and the antichrist will emerge. The restrainer is referred to as a "he" in v7. Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as "he or him" 10 different times in scripture.

Other verses...

Revelation 3:10 ESV
[10] Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

Luke 21:36 ESV
[36] But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 ESV
[9] For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

I have no idea when the rapture will happen. I lean more towards a mid-trib myself. I hope for a pre-trib but must be ready for a post trib.

As far as this Sept 23rd fiest of trumpets, the amount of chatter online is absolutely nuts. Do I really think the rapture's going to happen during the feast? Not really, but I definitely not ruling it out. I will be watching, lol. If Im being honest, I think it's more likely to be a great "shakening to awaken," than the actual rapture we think of.

One of the greatest prophets of our time (in my opinion), Kim Clement, prophecied about this around 10 years ago... he sure nailed his Trump prophesy back in 2007 too.
