Delivery confirmation doesn't really track anything--all it tells you is where the package used to be, not where it is at any given moment. I use it more to prove I shipped them and when than anything else. And Priority Mail is not guaranteed whatsover. I've even had the P.O. send it Parcel Post when I paid $16 for eggs to be shipped Priority across the country. Needless to say, when they finally arrived and were incubated, none hatched. I would have sent eggs for just shipping, and have done so in the past, in addition to sometimes shipping them again at no cost to the buyer, but I cannot afford to pick up the tab for the P.O.'s incompetance too many times.
Having eggs shipped is really a gamble from start to finish. Not only maybe they won't hatch, they may not arrive at all.
