Well lol in my defense I got a good deal on the sneakers so had to have every color

It always is about the good deal on shoes...

1 pair boots for winter/working in the woods
2 pair for the chicken coop
1 pair for the garden
1 pair that I wear when I'm not wearing any of those that are acceptable to wear just about anywhere
1 pair for wearing around the house

The chicken coop/run always need specialist shoes for those.
They are a must have!

Years ago...still not the old day, I used to buy many shoes because they are on special, and special always the case.

I did not get around to wear them, and found that they all disintegrated in the boxes.

The quality is not what it used to be, this is the part where I say I am too old I remember shoes used to last forever, and so did many things.
Now everything break down after a year or two.

I have several really old shoes I wear occasionally. About 30% is over 10 years old, and another 30% over 5yo. Non of them disintegrated. I usually buy good leather shoes. But even the cheap wannabe crocks are about 12 yo. The crocks are not in good condition anymore, but still wearable and great to throw on quickly, to visit the chickens and the garden, as long as it doesn't rain too much.

Your shoes must be quality stuff.

I got a pair of thick plastic shoes $20..I seem like plastic to me to walk in the garden, it lasted a week. It curved up and sunk in the sun.

With leader shoes when I get home, I put them in a box on the shoes rack so that it does not crack just because the sunlight shine into the house. Not just crack on the top, the insole lift off. This is not cheap stuff, but the quality just bad.

I admit. Maybe I missed a pair I didn’t count. Or forgot about a pair I counted but actually put in the restore container a couple of months ago.

2 pair flip-flops, 1 pair work shoes, 1 pair sandals, 1 pair mud boots, ?? Pairs of dress shoes/boots

1 pair water shoes/sandals
3 pairs nicer shoes for church
2 pairs sandals

These are all my shoes I have downstairs atm. I have more upstairs. And the crocks are outside.
