6. Faverolles (again, if our summers weren't so terrible. I'll do beards or feathered feet but not both on the same bird for that reason)

Black Penedesenca. I'm so afraid they may already be extinct, at least in the States! These are beautiful, magnificent birds that hail from NW Spain and lay a very dark chocolate brown egg, although they have a white ear lobe. They have a very unusual comb known as "carnation." It's basically a single comb in front, but at the back it branches out into several lobes, like a crown. If anybody knows where I can get any of these in any form, please pm me. Notice I want BLACK ones, not crele. Thanks!

I quit keeping bantams and feather legged breeds because they're not practical for my purposes any more, but if the practicality hurdles were removed, I'd want my feather legged bantam naked necks back.

Wow, I didn't even know there was a black variety. I only thought there was that one variety and no others.

I’ve personally always wanted bantams, particularly clean leg bantams like Sebrights and Dorkings.
