I did a long time ago it’s old old not useable at all.

Not even usable doesn’t boot.

My old Chromebook is still kinda useable last I checked. Worked with YouTube and all that.


The other laptop, if it was functioning, would still be perfectly usable.

So long as it's got a decent chip and 4GB of RAM you probably could pop Linux on it and watch YouTube. I've used 10 years old computers before and most of the time they do just dandy.

Your mom and sister are not using it for lightroom and photoshop, which is my use case. It's fine for light-medium duty, just not what I need in a laptop. I need threads and I need ram.
