What do you use to collect eggs from your chicken coop? (Basket, egg carton, pockets, etc)

Pocket, shirt, grain scoop, bucket, or whatever is handy.

I don't collect eggs currently.

Whatever is handy at the time. If I remember, I use my egg container but usually I just hold them in my shirt until I get inside

I’m in the whatever is handy camp also. I have an egg basket but never remember to take it out there.

Plastic egg flats for eggs I'm gonna hatch.
5 gallon bucket for the rest.

I’ve got a basket in there, but normally I forget about it. I’ve carried them in my shirt, an empty oyster shell bag, my coat pockets (left one in there for a couple days because I forgot about it.) So lots of different things.

Me too. If it's one or two and I have a coat pocket, that works too. I rarely need a basket, but have one that I use on occasion.

Scoop or basket. I’ve had too many… incidents with putting eggs in my pocket

Whatever is handy. I have been known to forget them in a jacket pocket before

When I am getting a lot, egg cartons in 5 gallon bucket with shavings. cartons for clean sellable, another for small or wonky eggs...in shavings on bottom for dirty eggs.
Right now I just go out with one carton. A few might end up in a pocket
