Question of the Day - Monday, July 7th, 2025

I will eat meat,,, but must have fire added to well done.
Sushi,,,, well, If I add fire to the fish,, will eat.
I wont eat insufficiently cooked meat/fish.
No need to jump at me,,,:frow:highfive:
I know rare cooked steaks are easier to chew. I still have good teeth. :old
I wouldn't jump at you, we all have our individual tastes.

I usually eat raw fish w/o the rice. I also eat raw oysters and clams. Meat- beef and lamb eaten raw or lightly cooked. Eggs- white firm, yellow runny as I need to be able to dip the toast (only well done thing I like) in it and sop it all up. 😂

Look at all the money we save on electric/propane 🤣

My nectar is milk. My whole family could live off the stuff. My grandparents kept several extra gallons in the fridge in the garage because we'd go through it like it was water and we were dying of thirst in the desert. My favorite dessert when I was a kid was a glass of Ovaltine, served in one of my grandfather's frosty beer mugs. We're actually out of milk in this house right now, and now I'm craving it like crazy . . .:barnie

Food? Probably lobster, but it may be one of those things that I think so highly of because it's such an incredibly rare treat. I have it maybe once every few years these days. I feel like if I could get my hands on lobster on a weekly basis, milk might move into the top spot. Because that's the magic of milk - it can be a food or a beverage.
Ah, milk, how I love thee.
Have you ever had raw milk?

Have you ever had raw milk?

I have. Never again. :sick
I'm with you on the raw beef, though. I prefer it cooked some - rare or blue rare - but I'd much rather have raw beef than anything cooked medium or above.

Ha, I would rarely drink store milk but use it to make yogurt and cook. When I began to drink raw milk, yum to me. Maybe it's the higher butterfat.

Our Maine Coon cat will not touch store milk, now she whines when I bring out the raw. She eats her food raw also. 😂

Not sure which drink I like best. Maybe Horchata? Meadow tea is pretty amazing too, especially on a hot day.

For food though, it's ramen. There's nothing better than a hot bowl of ramen filled with chashu pork, marinated eggs, bamboo shoots, etc. It's making me hungry just thinking about it :drool
