Tough one. A week isn't very long for some animals but it's too long for others.

I think I'll go with a foster dog.

Wifey says a Wombat. But I know her. If I let it in, it's not leaving.

I'd be cool with a Friesian for a week.

If we can have an extinct(is it?) animal, I would have a thylacine. Animal alive today, I'm not sure. Maybe a panda or an okapi

I've wanted an African Grey for many years, I'd rescue one but now at my age it would probably out live me so i'd need to get an elderly one. I'd not give it up after one week, I don't think.

Our African Grey lived to 30/31 years. We were younger but still realized we needed to leave her to someone, in our will. She was a great addition to the fam. What a talker!

We would have a sheep or a goat. Really, I would like to have/observe each on our land for a month to decide which.
We want an animal for meat and milk. We've thought of cows also. I need to decide by spring '26.
