Do you prefer sponges or washcloths?

Sponges.

Washcloths. I use scrubby pads and sos pads if the job is bad.

For what? I use cloths for dusting or to wipe down counters, sponges to scrub out duck pools or scrub off dishes before loading the dishwasher (not the same sponge for both jobs, obviously), and loofahs for shower time.
