Do you have a favorite state?

I haven't been to many, but I like Maine, Colorado, & Oregon. I live in California, and like lots about it, like having the Sierra Nevada mountain range 3 hours to our east, and the Pacific Ocean an hour west.

As for of the 50, my home state of Michigan is my favorite.

Can't really beat this answer, but my preference of a favorite American State to live in, #1 is New Mexico. Colarado's nice too, but prior to 1970. Too crowded since then.

Out of the fifty states, the forty I have visited are my favorites . Of the forty, I would either live in Louisiana or the Mid-Atlantic states.

Yes, same, Michigan is definitely my favorite too...Not just because I live here, but because it's just so beautiful.
I just love the Great Lakes; the sound of the waves, rockhounding, and the sunset over the water. We also have stunning campgrounds to visit.
Also just wanted to note that despite Detroit getting a bad rap everywhere around the world, there is so much to see and do there!

But if I had to pick another state I would just have to say Alaska! TBH every single state has it's own cool things about it, like the trees in Vermont in the Fall, the crystal caverns in Ohio, Disneyworld in Florida, the museums in Illinois or the cool rock formations in Utah- every state has it's own attractions!!

I found it so interesting learning about the witch trials there!! Massachusetts is so cool!
