So, like upper 70's F?

Come to think of it, you're right!

There were a lot of Canadians that would come down for training near where I was living at the time, and I remember talking to this one group around about June. The temp was in the mid 90s and I was enjoying the few odd days of pleasantly mild summer weather. The reason I remember this particular conversation so well is because one of the men said he couldn't wait for it to start cooling off. Further comments revealed he thought the "scorching heat" surely wasn't normal.
This was only June, and the guy was complaining about temperatures that were still in the 90s! I really wish I'd seen him towards the end of summer, if for no other reason than to verify he didn't melt.

I'm not making fun of anyone who can't handle warmer temperatures, by the way. My husband's Michigander family was gobsmacked by my having to wear jackets and coats when I visited them in the summer, so I know what it's like to be the weather weenie in a group of acclimated folks.

"Weather weenie," lol. :lau
Guess that would be me. I spent most of my life in NM and after 15 years in MO I'm still not acclimated. Winter is torture for me, and even in the summer I can't leave the house without a sweater. Why is it, when it's 90° outside, businesses think they have to keep it at 60° inside? 🥶

Yes! It is super annoying having to lug around a coat in the middle of summer because of those businesses! I think it's like that high pitched tone some places play in order to keep teenagers from loitering.
