The opposite. If I have things laying around that don't get used often it irritates me; it's almost a sort of anxiety. I'm always getting rid of things, and feeling better for it.

Yes . I have several boxes of useful junk that I only use once every five years. Also multiple boxes of sentimental items like a dried up pen from 2007, two sticks from a park, and a jury summons.

In this case I am a packrat.
I've inventoried some of my stuff but not all of it.

Even if it's broken I've still got it around here.

Not as much as my husband. But I do have a garage sale every summer so I collect things throughout the year for that

Not anymore.....to some degree.....

I was not a packrat until I became environmentally friendly...

I started out to be environmentally friendly, reuse, recycle, repurpose so I collected so much that my big shed has no room to move.

Then I find my path to minimalist....I get rid of many things, and now it is throwing 1 item out per week.

My shed is half way clear, and I still recycle/repurpose/reuse...to a certain degree.....

It is a battle each time when I want something and told myself NO, and NO!
