I don’t know, but I live in Ohio and a friend of my stepsister’s lost a few fingers in the winter of 2022/2023

The only way I've ever thought of Australia was coastal or outback lol.

I don't really know the coldest, but I was born in North Dakota and lived there for a few years so it probably happened there. Hottest was 118° in Scottsdale, AZ.
