It's been 15 years since I've been to a zoo

Close. At least 10+ years, probably more.
I would rather see them naturally but realize I cannot.

The Shedd Aquarium is the only one I've been to. John Ball Zoo (Grand Rapids, MI) is a small zoo, but nice.

I love The National Aquarium in Baltimore. The rainforest is, in DS' KID-word, "WayCoolNeat!" ... but I miss the seals!
My favorite zoo is The Salisbury Zoo, in Maryland. It's located in a beautiful public park and is free!

I was there for the opening day of the Baltimore Aquarium (went to college in Towson). I’d never seen anything like it in my life, really blew me away! I’ll need to go back at some point.

Hey, me too - on both the Opening Day/Night and Towson U! We probably met on the terrace to watch the fireworks!
