Have you ever fallen off a roof?

No, but I did fall out of a tree.

Back when I was a carpenter, I know of roofers that walking backwards, walked off of the roof.

Way, way back when I was obsessed with the idea that I/we could fly. We made big kites, strapped them on our backs and ran into the wind. Didn't work. I decided to try it off the roof of the chicken coop running into the wind. No chickens were killed. Friends ran into the house screaming that I had killed myself.

The hang gliders out here have proven that if the "wings" are properly designed and big enough, you can fly.

Yes. As a teenager I was instructed to shovel the snow off the porch roof, and didn’t know any better.
