question on feeding quail chicks.....

Magic Bullet does feed and dog/cat food wonderfully. I can only get one kind of gamebird starter here and that's the highest protein feed in driving distance at only 22%. It's way too big for buttons and when I have 50 of the buggers soaking and changing feed frequently is a pain. The magic bullet will grind one of it's containers full in about 30seconds and a feeder full in less than 5mins. That lasted 25 week old chicks 5 days this last time and I'm just about to go grind another feeder full before I leave for class in less than 10mins.

ok...sounds like I can relax on the grinding...LOL......they are 18 days old now and I feed dumor chick starter too. I found it at TSC, but have wanted to go to the local feed mill to see if they had anything different, that might be better.......I just got done grinding as much as my grinder will hold which is probably 2 cups or better. I will say they do seem to eat it up at a pretty good pace.......
