What is PDZ?

I use sweet pdz in my artificial turf. I use it around the big stock tank that is up against a raised flower bed

It helps with drainage, and smell.

I also use it in the planter areas right under the windows. The ducks spend alot of time there in the shade, and the poop really builds up. Keeps down the smell, helps with drainage and soil compaction.
I also mix it in with the hay.

Sweet PDZ is a mineral product - it's a fine sand. The minerals in it combine with the liquid from manure and prevent the formation of ammonia.

Jennifleur - Wow! Very beautiful pictures of your yard & birds! What breeds are those? Have you submitted any of those for the "other poultry" calendar yet? I think theres only a week left to get them in, if you're interested.
