Question regarding pullet's but and tail feathers

I will post a picture Tuesday, but I have to ask is it normal for a hen not to have the regular hen but (Feathers sticking out of but)? I have one pullet who has one tail feather. That is it. I will post a pic tuesday. It is just really weird. She is ok, and eats fine. She is lice and mite free and so is their coop. IDK. STRANGE!
