At what age will I know for sure if they are male or female and how will I know ?? Do the female combs go red as well ??

BR pullets will get large combs. Combs and faces will become quite red just before laying time.

Very cute! I have no idea, but I know that when you mate a barred Plymouth Rock hen with a Rhode Island Red rooster, all the chicks will be black, but each cockerel will have a white spot on its head.
