What kind of stool should my ducks be having?

Also, I can only seem to get one of my ducks to want to come to me and the others are terrified! This hurts my heart because i want them to love me. i coax them with treats but that doesnt help, what should i be doing?

How do i tell if i have boy ducks or girl ducks?

What kind of stool? I’m not sure what you mean.

They should warm up to you eventually. They still look pretty young. But treats are the way to a ducks heart! Don’t give up, just takes time.

You won’t be able to tell the sex til 5 weeks at the soonest. But you’ll be able to tell by their quack. Females are more or a honk and Males are super raspy. Males also have a drake feather but sometimes those take longer to come in.

I don't understand what is stool?
The best way to win over ducklings is to spend time with them just sitting at their level not even trying to pet them or pick them up They are curious so give them the opportunity to check you out without you trying to grab them. Toss some treats down on the floor and just toss them closer and closer to you until your hand is down flat on the floor with treats in it and let them eat out of your hand. Most likely they won't ever be lap pets but they will enjoy your company enough to follow you around outside especially if you have a shovel and are of a mind to dig some worms. lol
You'll have to wait a while to be able to tell the sex of your ducklings. Eventually, the females will start having little quacks coming out in between peeps. Drakes will have raspy voices and usually peep longer than females. How old are your ducklings now?

What kind of treats do you suggest? I have been giving them flock party quack snacks but the yellow ducks are the only ones that eat those. I keep them in a bag and put them in my hand to give them to them so they known it’s me but i feel like that scares them.

My yellow ducks seem to be the only ones adjusting to me and the brown ones are so scared they run. I need some helpful tips on how you got your ducks to come around and want to be lovey😭

It’s dark green/sticky almost like baby meconium poop initially. Then it can be watery/brown/what squirts or even formed like poop that easily flicks off of something. Ducklings are hilarious bc they will do like a run backwards scoot before they poop. I totally forgot about that until our 2nd round of ducklings.

Our first set of ducklings would hide under the heater plate if we came near and were skittish-predator instinct. This 2nd set seems more drawn to us (1st set we bought from TSC and 2nd set we hatched from eggs from the 1st set). I think the biggest thing is not pushing/surprising them. If you can sit at their level and talk to them and let them come to you it can help.

As others have said, aside from vent sexing, you just have to wait. The girls will be chattier and sound like your expected quack. The boys are raspier and quieter. If you still aren’t sure then you can wait to see if they grow a drake feather, the typical green head, and watch for mating behavior-but this obviously takes a lot longer AND it’s not unusual for a female to try to mount another female from what I’ve read.

Best of luck!

I am unsure of how old they are, i got them at TSC on February 25th so I don't know when they were born. My brown ducks there are very scared of me and they wont leave each other side

In my experience, all baby ducks want to hang out with all the other baby ducks. I think it's a survival strategy to makes sure the whole group is okay. All mine continue to do that even when totally mature.

A less expensive treat is a good old bag of frozen peas. All my ducklings got -- and continue to get those. Peas are not only yummy, they are a good source of niacin.

And, @citymeetscountry is right, females will mount females. At least, my runner girls sure do! Despite being hand-raised since they were a couple of days old, none of my runners is what you would call "cuddly." However, every single one will run toward me in anticipation of treats and most will gladly gobble those off my outstretched hand.

Ours LOVE frozen peas as well and it does have niacin which is a bonus
